OK, So I haven't posted much of substance lately,
Then again, nobody seems to care...
So onto wine stuff in my life....
On Sunday the 2nd, I started a 12 gallon batch of Orange Blossom mead. This will end up in my 10 gallon barrel. It's about 40% fermented right now, so another week or so....
Formula:
44 lbs OB Honey,
3 lbs Buckwheat honey,
Water to 12 gallons.
Starting SG: 1.138
Yeast: D-21, rehydrated with Go-Ferm.
At end of lag phase added 6g Fermaid-K and 6g DAP.
At 33% Sugar Break added 8g Fermaid-K and 3g DAP
As soon as this one is done, will start another...
