The rumours are that Pavel Chekov has been with everyone in the Academy that Jim hasn’t. That’s pretty much everyone. That. . .That includes Bones. Jim tries to stop himself thinking about that too heavily. His best friend and his crush doing it.
“It was before I knew” Bones tells him. But Jim’s hung up about the idea of having his dick in his best friend.
“It’ll be like. . . Well, what if I start thinking about you?”
“You won’t. Pasha won’t let you. . . Look,” Bones added when Jim shot him a confused look, “I didn’t teach that kid all he knows.”
Bones keeps the mystery around Pavel and it only serves to anger Jim further. Bones calls him Pasha! What’s that about? Jim only wishes he could, wishes he taught the kid some of what he knows.
In truth Jim Kirk knows very little and that’s part of the reason he’s so scared. He has a reputation as a bit of a flirt, but nothing further. Jim worries about embarrassing himself. What if he isn’t as good as he thinks he is? What if Pavel starts comparing him. to someone else . . To Bones even?
For now though, Jim’s got to decide how to play this. He’s got to pluck up the courage to ask Pavel out first.
He finds Pavel in his usually dwelling; the library and approaches with confidence and care. Pavel is studying afterall.
“Jim Kirk?” Jim’s not shocked that Pavel knows his name, “Jim Kirk wants to take me on a date?” Pavel almost sounds as though he’s laughing at the through.
Jim nodded enthusiastically, “I-”
“Sure,” smiled Pavel.
Jim, delighted, reached over the study books between them and kiss Pavel on the cheek. Pavel smiled at him.
“Later,” he promised.
Jim later finds that Bones was right, although he’d never tell him. He never once thinks about all the people that had had Pavel before him; Bones, Uhara, that blond kid with the pony obsession. He never once thinks about how he’d compare to Pavel’s past partners. He rarely has time to think through the gasps, cries and sighs. The deep moaning and groaning, Pavel stills perfectly in tune too, barely leave him time to breathe.
Pavel has him truly believing he is the only person in the world; the most important. Pavel’s past may help him, but he’s learnt a lot. It’s possibly a combination of all he’s learnt that goes into making Jim’s gasps sharper, breathing heavier, heart beat faster. But Jim will never know.
Pavel makes love to him. Actually makes love. It’s slow, careful, and that makes it more intense. It’s pleasurable for both men. Jim’s body, his reactions, his sounds, tell Pavel all he needs to know. It’s not too long before Jim’s wish comes true and he’s murmuring “Pashaaa!”
For all that worrying Jim did, the cold feet he thought he had, the panic, the fear, he’d never dreamt of anything like this. Pavel showed him experience is a good thing.
