[Rex turns the camera on, then clumsily drops it. After a moment, he picks it up, his reflexes a bit sluggish. He holds it up, the angle slightly canted, looking at the camera with slightly unfocused eyes.]
So we've got-- you're people who. Who think you come from another Barge. Or who are from another Barge. [He laughs a little.] I don't know; maybe it went over my head.
[He's quiet for a long moment, looking at something else, then absently scratches his fingers through his hair.]
So. [Slowly, he pulls his eyes back to the camera.] What was I like? Who was I?
[OPEN SPAM]
[A little while after making that post, Rex decided the best course of action was to, well, take some more V, mostly because he could. Franklin's visit left him with a decent stock, and if he couldn't get any more pills, he could always take a drop or two some other way. It gets the job done all the same. As the blood hits his system, he lets its effects wash over him, sink him into blissful oblivion. Everything he touches feels like it has sparks, and it's all so much... brighter. The Barge is so beautiful like this.
Rex wanders into the stairwell, looking up as it seems to stretch forever, into some kind of heaven-- ha-- and he takes his time walking up it, seeming to explore every single step until he's at the top. He pushes the door open to the deck, breathless for a moment. The stars are so intense, so alive-- they're practically swirling, dancing, drifting downward to blanket the deck. And-- oh... There's grass. The deck's covered in it, this vibrant, verdant field. With a carefree laugh, he works his boots off, then his socks, and starts to walk, run, frolic along the expanse of the deck. He can practically feel each and every blade of grass beneath his feet. He runs to the railing, gripping it as he comes to a quick stop, looking down as the stars seem to plummet, cascading down into space in a rush. He laughs loudly, then murmurs something about "celestial waterfalls," watching what nobody else can see.
TL;DR Rex is high and acting like a fool. Interrupt him.]
[SPAM FOR JANE]
[And after his excellent adventure on the deck, Rex stumbles down into the Barge again. He finds his way to Jane's room, knocks on the door, leans his body against it, whispering something to the door.]
