[122] SOMEBODY'S FINALLY OVER HIS TANTRUM // Voice.

Mar 21, 2011 23:49

[AND LO, Rex sounds like his normal horrible self again, as opposed to his whiny, horrible counterpart.]

That entry the other day was... [HNNGH] ill advised. To say the least. Needless to say, I wasn't thinking clearly at the time.

Anyway. I suppose now is when I'm meant to give some words of reflection, say what I've learned from this fiasco. What, indeed...

[Yes, Rex, what have you learned?]

I divided my attentions too much between my ultimate goal and, ah. Entertainment. The latter was a meaningless waste of time-- fun, of course, but it drew too much attention to my activities. Pure stealth would have been more likely to have yielded far more successful outcomes.

Ah well. I'll spare you the cliches about hindsight.

[Moving on...]

Now. Would somebody do me the favor of bringing some books down from the library? Oh, and fair warning: if you have anything to say to me, you'd be better served coming to Level 0. I no longer have the privilege of filters. [Not complaining (lol for once), JUST GIVING HIS... FEW REMAINING ALLIES A WARNING.]

[ADDED LATER:] And I should thank Elphaba Thropp for putting things into perspective, regarding my tactical errors.

[OOC: AND WITH THAT... Rex is bowing out into bookishness til he's out of Zero, because my god, I am so goddamn far behind on Talbot and Arthurs' tags. DO NOT LET ME POST ANYTHING NEW FOR A FEW DAYS GUYS :C]

misery loves company, acting normal, supervillainy 101
