I haven't written in a while. whoopsey!
Scotland just passed around the corner, we went for the weekend. Absolutely fabulous! I think we were in such awe of the city of Edinburgh that we didn't even notice that it was MUCH colder and I totally forgot my scarf. Today, I will be crafty and make a pair of mitten-gloves.
I bought a Scotland scarf, pretty genuine ey? Yeah. I mailed a few postcards, but I have to mail a bunch more back here. I also got this really adorable bear with a bagpipe and it plays Scotland's national anthem! haha. I love it.
The castle there was small, kind of eerie (Edinburgh castle). We took a lot of fun photos-- as we get more and more comfortable with our group here we're becoming more comfortable with being absolutely silly wherever we go which makes these trips fun. I love Divya and Ally, they're so awesome and the four of us make the tightest group. Ally and I spend a lot of time together when we go on these excursions which makes things nice because I hang out with the same people all the time.
I love the accents, much less pretentious than English accents and they seem like much more fun. However, Edinburgh is quite small so I don't think we'd have as much fun as we do in London but it would probably be more cost efficient, even though they're in pounds also.
I didn't get to see the Lochness monster, I suppose he was sleeping in for the day as he does most of the time.
I'm already 1.5 months into this and I only have 3.5 left. I think I felt like it would be a lot longer than it's going to be.
In two weeks we go to Barcelona, then about 2 weeks after that my mom comes and we go to Paris, then 3 weeks after that classes are done for the semester and Amanda and I will head to Belgium, then Switzlerland, Greece, and Italy (not necessarily in that order). Then I come home (London) and it's already May and we're trying to fit in Ireland and Germany in that month... then finals... then I come home completely broke. wtf.
