Reporting a plagiarist: Katie-baum at fanfiction.net
I was alerted this morning that one of my stories had been plagiarized.
On 9/12/07, Katie-baum of fanfiction.net posted the first installment of a One Tree Hill story called Unidentified. Other than changes to names and pronouns, this story is word-for-word identical to my SGA story Unidentified, which I posted on 7/8/07 (first installment here, index post here).
As I don't have a fanfiction.net account, I have no way to contact this author directly. Instead, I sent the following message to the fanfiction.net Abuse Team (and to the support email as well, before someone directed me to the proper place to report abuse):
Hello,
I'm emailing because I was alerted this morning that an author on fanfiction.net has plagiarized one of my stories.
Katie-baum (http://www.fanfiction.net/u/995219/Katie-baum) reposted the first part of my story Unidentified (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/3781167/1/Unidentified) on 9/12/07. Other than changes to names and pronouns, the text is word-for-word identical to my story, also called Unidentified, which I posted on 7/8/07 (my original post of that part of the story is here -- http://fiercelydreamed.livejournal.com/6933.html). I have attached screencaps of the beginning and end of Katie-baum's plagiarized version, taken this morning.
As I do not have a fanfiction.net account, I have no way of contacting this author directly. I would appreciate your assistance in removing this plagiarized version of my story.

I have not yet received a response (however, given that I sent this email a half-hour ago, I didn't expect to hear back for a while).
In comments to a locked post on my personal journal, I've been told that at least three of her other stories are also plagiarized SGA stories. I will encourage those people to comment with evidence here.
I would appreciate any help in making sure that the plagiarized version of my story, as well as her plagiarized versions of other people's stories, are removed. I and several other people have taken screencaps, which we can provide if needed.
