The Case Against BrokenPromises22

While I am nominally in charge of writing this up I'd like to stress that while I did look over the screencaps and the LJ comments, credit most certainly given where credit is due...
I'd like to first of all give a big round of applause and congratulations to roguemudblood for being so dedicated to running down all of the plagiarized fanfics! In addition, I'd like to thank my fellow mod horustheavenger who was handling the case on TaPiR and has left many reviews on the plagiarized fics. Your work has proven invaluable in getting a handle on this massive, massive amount of plagiarism.
To summarize: BrokenPromises22 has gone by various other handles, most notably SweetPurebloodAngel (She herself states she used to use it on ff.n, and she apparently still uses it on deviantArt), and until recently, PinkBonBons on adultfanfiction.net; that AFF account has since been shut down, and a rather snarky profile has been left there by the admins.
So, for the record, the major profiles of interest are:

PinkBonBons AFF profile
RogueMudblood's first screencap page also contains links to about 10 other profiles, most of which are blank.
The true extent of the plagiarism committed by BrokenPromises22 is still to be determined; at the peak of her storywriting she had 191 stories. Since then, her ff.n profile has shrunk to 133 stories. I have noticed in doing a final check-through of her profile that I cannot find any search hits for phrases in a few of her stories, indicating that there is a smidgen of original content that she has written.
However, it can be established that 80% of her fanfictions, if not more, are stolen from a variety of authors across many fandoms. The sheer breadth and scale of the plagiarism is, in my memory, without precedent except for perhaps the cases against Polgarawolf some time ago. To those authors who have had the misfortune to be caught up in this, I'm sorry you've had to deal with this and I thank you for doing your part to make sure ff.n knows that BrokenPromises22 will not go unnoticed.
In terms of a timeline, both I and horustheavenger PMed her in our official mod capacities to indicate that she could, if she wished, make a rebuttal either in PM or on the LJ comm here. She has not replied and in fact has blocked PMs. As the actual visual evidence of the screencaps compiled by roguemudblood, in my mind, goes beyond the balance of probabilities and to beyond a reasonable doubt, BrokenPromises22's lack of response is, while indicative of consciousness of guilt, superfluous owing to the sheer preponderance of evidence.
It is my decision that BrokenPromises22 will be added to the list of known plagiarists, indefinitely.
