Plagiarism in the Avatar: The Last Airbender fandom
On February 24, I noticed an ATLA story on Fanfiction.net by Lightningtrailblazer42 titled "Braiding Peace". Having an ATLA story by Becca Stareyes with the same title and summary in my Favorites list, I was suspicious of plagiarism. I looked at Lightningtrailblazer42's story and compared it to the original to discover that it was an exact copy of Becca Stareyes' story.

I don't know how admissible the following is, but I thought it would be good to include it anyway.
A Google search of Lightningtrailblazer42's username revealed a recently taken down story titled "What I learnt at SRU?". Knowing that D3stiny-Sm4sher has a long running story titled "What I Learned at SRU", I contacted her and discovered that she was aware of the story and that it had been taken down after she contacted Lightningtrailblazer42.
