Plagiarism in Dragon Age fandom
Most of this will be behind the cut, because it's image-heavy and some of the images are large. On February 7 I got a message on LJ telling me a new story had been posted at http://www.fanfiction.net/s/8946876/1/Not-Her-Last and that it plagiarized my fic What We Become. By the time I saw the message, the story had been taken down.
On February 10th, I got another LJ message telling me the same author was at it again. The author in question is Triangles Are Cool, and the story went up under the new title Second Chances. When I went to check it out, I found this passage:
Which compares to what I wrote in 2010:
I sent a PM to Triangles Are Cool the same day:
And received her response a day later:
She removed the passage quickly thereafter, and I thought the matter closed until 2/15, when I saw she'd updated and the text looked rather familiar.

I don't believe any further contact from me would do anything to dissuade Triangles Are Cool from doing this again, and at this point all it seems I can do is report it and cry bitter tears of fannish frustration.
