The Case against Skidoodlezz5.

Mar 24, 2012 09:28

On the 17th March 2012  masu_trout reported that an infamous Pokémon Story by David Garret titled 'Rectified Anonymity', had been posted on FFnet under the name 'When Pokémon trainers get desperate' by Sikdooglezz5.

Due to its content 'Rectified Anonymity,' is a story that has been widely discussed within the  Pokémon fandom. In that fandom it is known simply as 'The Pokémon Story'. It has been in circulation since at least 2008 and possibly as early as  2005.

I contacted Skidoodlezz5  asking them for a response to the claim that their story 'When Pokémon trainers get desperate'' was a direct word for word copy of 'Rectified Anonymity' .

They have either declined or refused to reply.

An analysis of Skidoodlezz5 other currently published story 'Bloody Vengeance' shows a complete disparity of styles, syntax, word use and maturity including the level of English.  It is clear Skidoodlezz5  has  copied 'Rectified Anonymity' and reposted it under their own name.

Skidoodlezz5 has been added to the list of known plagiarists.

Since this was posted Skidoodleezz5 has replied

Dear Evalentine,
Plagarism on this site is nothing worth worrying about, because this site is nothing but a million monkeys on a million typewriters. The only reason I put my story on my profile is because there are no versions of Rectified Anonymity on this site. The no rule 34 rules have actually been working. Whatever, these stories arent even worth posting. That is because the only talent on this site is in trolls like the creator of my immortal.

From a plagarist,
skidoodlezz5
