Decision in the case regarding Sarrasi and the Transformers fandom
On 3 July, gixxer_pilot reported that Sarrasi on Fanfic.net posted Alan Dean Foster's Transformers novel as her own work. GixxerPilot's original post is here.
Comparing Sarrasi's story with the excerpts of Alan Dean Foster's novel available for preview shows that it's pretty much a word for word copy of the excerpts. I will presume that the same would hold for the remainder of the story. I approached Sarrasi but have received no response. The story has now been removed from Fanfiction.net.
Sarrasi will be added to the list of plagiarists.
