The Case Against RealNCISAuthor
On March 19, 2011, sinfulslasher reported that RealNCISAuthor had plagiarized four stories by four different authors. A timeline of events can be found below the cut.
On March 16, 2011, RealNCISAuthor created a fanfiction.net account. She posted four stories on March 18 that were word-for-word copies of stories by tejas, taylorgibbs, webbgirl, and xanthelj. RealNCISAuthor went so far as to name the four authors in her user info, claiming that they stole the stories from her. However, the four stories were posted in December 2009 (Christmas With Julia by taylorgibbs), May 2010 ( Worthy by tejas), August 2009 ( Tell Me Your Kinks by webbgirl), and May 2010 ( Tony's Rules by xanthestories). I contacted RealNCISAuthor on March 21, informing RealNCISAuthor that she had been reported for plagiarism, and I included a link to the original report.
On March 22, RealNCISAuthor changed her user info, which now says:
"I'm sick & tired of people taking credit 4 what I write. I'm posting my stories here & exposing the writers who think they're better than they are. If u steal my stories ur name will be mud in NCIS. Spanking fic & kink is OOC & is for ppl with fatherhood issues. I'm sick & tired of Gibbs spanking virtually each & every team member.
The fakers are Web Girl, Xanthe, tejas, & taylorgibbs.
U creatures don’t understand. I worked on these stories before they were posted & I’m so not happy they posted my stories…& thinking u all need to shut up unless you know them. & there's far too much reaching for reasons to blame me, twits…"
The new bits are in bold; the rest was there from the beginning.
RealNCISAuthor also posted four 'new' stories, all of which are word-for-word copies of four stories by the same four original authors. She changed some of the titles slightly, but otherwise, they're exactly the same: Lucky 7 by tejas, originally posted July 2009; Voices Carry by taylorgibbs, originally posted July 2008; Sunrise by xanthestories; and Fair Winds and Following Seas by webbgirl, originally posted in March 2009.

RealNCISAuthor has not responded to my message. Given the evidence, I will be adding RealNCISAuthor to the list of known plagiarists.
