The case against 'Chiaretta Ariadne'
On August 27th coconutmandarin reported that her story had been posted as an original work by user Chiaretta Ariadne on FictionPress.com. The post along with the screen-caps can be found here.
Upon further investigation the Naruto story, Age of Innocence, had been re-posted as the original work The Mix of Art and Love. This was a case of word-for-word plagiarism with the names from Naruto being replaced with generic, non-fandom specific names. The Naruto story was posted on October 27th, 2009 and the plagiarized version was posted on August 7th, 2010.
I sent a PM to Chiaretta Ariadne on August 30th via FictionPress.com. The story was taken down shortly after, but I did not receive a written reply and for the last two months there has been no further activity on the account. As this again was a word-for-word copy, Chiaretta Ariadne will be added to the list of known plagiarists.
