He stumbled back, fixing his beret. And that's what happens when you don't watch where you're walking; you bump into people... Huh, this person was wearing a maroon suit.
"Sorry about that, sir."

"We all make errors. Simply do your best to ensure that it does not happen again." After a pause, he adds, "I don't believe that I've seen any examples of your particular species here yet."

"Huh? Oh, that's not really surprising. It's just me and Flaky here right now." If this man had somehow seen any of his friends, he would've been happy and a little shocked.

Clearly something isn't, if the slightly sick and nervous expression on her face is anything to go by.
"Oh no... you have to be kidding me." Her voice is full of dismay as she starts to gather her papers up again. "They didn't seriously mix up the fingerprint file, did they? As if this wasn't hard enough already..."

Should this bespectacled young lady look up, she'll find that she's being looked down at -- in more ways than one -- by a man in a burgundy suit who is slightly higher up the stairs.

She heads down the steps of the building, her business there finished. She stops, however, as she notices a somewhat familiar-looking face and maroon coat. It was that man from the Sif... Odd.
She realizes that wormholes were probably at work here, and that memory loss was common. So she approached him with a bit of caution.
"The court hall is not something people normally takes notes on."

"It alone is quite unique compared to those that I've seen -- and I have traveled much of the world... or perhaps I must say, my world to study and compare foreign court systems."
