[There is a white-haired ninja exploring the planet as well. He, too, was not much of a fan of amusement parks, but that was partially because his world had none, and fleeing for your life on the back of a giant snake was a bit more...real than simulating the experience by riding in a metal car.

Still, Kabuto had tried some of the rides, found them boring, and was now spending more time watching the pedestrians than participating in the intended entertainment. When he notices Shin, he ambles over, curious as to the clear outlier.]

You here from the Thor as well?

[antipathea]

[ Shin glances up, straightening his posture. Oh. Someone talking to him. He hadn't really anticipated that, for some reason... nor did he really want it. Offering a nod, his expression remains fairly blank. ]

Correct.

[sound_council]

You don't seem to be enjoying yourself much.

[Kabuto has his 'nice' smile on, clearly trying to be friendly, though how accurate the expression was to his true feelings was impossible to tell.]

[antipathea]

[ back in the day, Shin would have been able to sense those feelings, but his empathy had mostly evaporated with his death, along with most of his trust for people. His tone and posture remain distant. ]

I came out of curiosity.

[sound_council]

And has that been satisfied?

[antipathea]

[ the scientist looks off to the side at the people and aliens milling by. Come to think of it, it was a lot like it had been back then... strange. After a moment, he replies. ]

... Yes.

[sound_council]

[Kabuto smiles quietly] The same is true for me.

[antipathea]

[ Shin looks back to him, brows knitting together slightly in a questioning glance. ]

What do you mean?

[sound_council]

This world is...quite different from my own, yet provides many interesting things to observe. Technology, alien biology...it is all quite fascinating.

[antipathea]

... The same could be said of the entire ship.

[sound_council]

Indeed. And of many of the people on it.

[antipathea]

Mm. [ all he really offers. Socially distant and awkward as usual. He was no good at talking with people. It was still so uncomfortable for him - because he couldn't stop wondering now what they were really thinking. However, his face remains cold. ]

[sound_council]

[Kabuto leans against the tree, content to let the conversation die. He has no difficulty speaking with people; while he may not always know exactly what they're thinking, he is confident enough with his acting that others always think they know what's going on in his head. People are easy to read for Kabuto, and the skill makes it difficult to really connect with anyone.]
