Fai is in the park, just lying beneath a tree. His massive coat is sprawled outward beneath him, and the hood pulled across his face. He appears to be sleeping. The snow seems to be acting as a cushion. He seems comfortable...

Amaterasu moves back and gazes up at the tree. Ah, looks fine; she'll leave it be for now and decorate some of it in a while. She turns away and blinks. For a moment, she thought she saw blue in white. Maybe just... no, no she saw something under that tree. Quietly, she walked over to see.

And Fai was just laying there, completely asleep. He was breathing quietly, unmoving. His dreams... were gentler than usual... The snow seemed to be nostalgic enough for him...

Well, she recognizes this figure. As usual, he's covered himself, but he isn't laying face down. He seems almost... at peace. He had said once him home had been covered in snow.

She sits down besides him, careful as to not accidentally move his coat and awaken him. He deserved to sleep when he could.

Minato had seen the start of the tree while passing by the park earlier, and now, out of part boredom and part holiday spirit, he was back, armed with a yellow scarf and a box or two of string lights to do his part in decorating it. A tree was one thing, but a tree with lights in it was all the better.

It was at this point that he realized that he had forgotten to bring along a ladder. As well as an extension cord to actually plug in the lights. Oops. At the base of the tree he stood, looking up at it, wondering just the best way to go about solving this little dilemma.

"Need help?"

She looked at Minato with a smile. Oh, lights. That would be a lovely addition to the tree.

"Hm?" Minato looked over to the woman. So it would seem that he wasn't the only one with the idea to decorate the tree. Help was always an appreciated thing.

"Sure." He replied, "...Though what I really need is a ladder or something to get these a little higher in the tree... And find some way to turn the lights on."

"... It should be an easy leap up there."

Hm... oh, right. Electric lights. "You could use my glaive for a bit to light them." Though, shouldn't this ship have lights that didn't need to be plugged in?

[Is walking by the park when he notices the x-mas tree] [Smiles in a warm way, seeming happy with the lights and the decoration]

[Oh, Christmas was really becoming closer and closer...]

[She's helping some aliens put on their own decorations (Nope, none of them are voodoo dolls). Perhaps Akito has an ornament to add?]

[Akito remembers that he had just got some Christmas lights on his bag] [Takes it out, observing it for a while and then to the tree]

Excuse me... [He calls, not too loud, but not too low to be heard either]

Maybe... it would look even prettier with these? [Extends the lights] [Smiles]

Hm?

[Her ears twitch and she turns] Ah, yes. Would you like to add them?

The concept of Christmas was still rather new to Xion. She knew of it vaguely before coming to the Thor, and Kurt had explained the basic concepts explained to her earlier in the month. Still, she wanted to know more, so she made sure to check out a couple of books on the holiday when she went to the library.

On her way back to her room after said visit, she decided to pass through the park. There was no harm in taking a little detour, right? She hadn't been there in a while, though, so the radical change in scenery surprised her. She stared in awe at the new decorations-especially at the tree, as she slowly approached it.

Christmas could probably be considered a fairly new concept to everyone on Thor, but it seemed like a nice holiday for everyone.

She continued to observe some aliens add their decorations and ornaments to the tree without a word. Maybe she was a little lost in thought, but she hadn't noticed Xion yet.

Xion tilted her head as she also watched the tree decoration commence. Was this another sort of holiday tradition? She did remember Kurt mentioning something about trees during their Christmas crash course...

As her eyes darted around the snowy landscape, she spotted a familiar face. She eventually wandered over to the older woman, a small smile on her lips. "Amaterasu?"

Her ears flicked first and she blinked, snapping out of her thoughts. She turned, smiling when she noticed it was Xion.

"Ah, Xion. Hello! Have you come to decorate the tree too?"

Guilmon hadn't been in this part of the Thor very much, mostly remaining in places where he recognized the few times that Takato or another resident showed him around. He didn't explore as often as he would have liked, remembering how his exploring had upset Takato back home. But here it didn't seem like his wandering would be a problem, and so here he was, looking around in awe at the snow-covered park.

He examined each snowbank, each frost-covered branch with the excitement of a child, and marveled as the snow crunched beneath his feet. He lapped up a mouthful of snow, tasting the cold white powder as it melted in his mouth. He giggled as he continued exploring, before he stopped and stared up at the large tree. It was big, bigger than any tree around! And so many sparkly decorations on it! He let out an 'oooh' as he stared up at it, tail wagging a bit.

Amaterasu paced around the tree, watching the aliens add decorations, but then paused. Something red caught her eye and she turned, blinking.

Well, she had seen this one on the guide's network before, but had never spoken to him. He was quite the young creature, wasn't he? The way he was fascinated with the snow...

"Hello there..."

Guilmon turned as he heard someone speaking to her. He blinked at the lady wearing long flowy white and red clothes, before smiling at her, his tail flicking.

"Hello!" he said, turning to face her.

Awe, he was cute.

"Are you exploring?"
