When the moon draws near [open]

Who: Saïx and whoever else
What: Saïx letting off some steam
When: night, planetside
Where: the surface of dinosaur planet
Warnings: Berserk Saïx, potential violence
For all that they were in space, Saïx supposed he should have expected things to turn out this way. His own moon, the moon that wasn't and still shown like one was gone as his world was. Vanished into nothingness, and the call of the same with it - something he'd all but committed himself to never feel again. He'd been a fool. True, not all planets had moons but sooner or later it stood to reason that one would be near enough to set off the song in his blood.

It was all wrong, notes pitched in strange ways; sounding notes that they couldn't have been able to. It was monstrous, to go to this call instead of the one he ought to have.

But he was a monster himself.

It was everything he'd longed for. Everything and nothing and no more would he pace and try to keep the siren's call out of his head. Not when it was a simple thing to slip down to the planet's surface and call down the moon's power. Tonight would be spent under stars and moon and it would be all that he couldn't be, if only just for that slightest of moments.

A dream, that never stayed.
