[He was quiet today, having arrived wordlessly as he sometimes tended to do- wandering in like a lost puppy, nowhere else to go. Which wasn't exactly far off, considering.]
[He was quieter than usual this time, though, face frozen into a sullen, emotionless line that would have been normal for him really if it weren't for the apparent and uncharacteristic lack of energy that accompanied his movements.]
[He sat, grading papers beside her but a little more removed than normal, having not said a word since arriving- having greeted her with only a lifeless grunt.]
