Life-changing crisis averted. Total downtime: About Five Days. Lost sleep: 8 Hours. Trust that a system designed to catch its own flaws might actually work: Priceless. The fact that they recognized that this ordeal had a very negative impact on me and are taking that into consideration as well: Bonus.
Now, back to normal things.
When I heard that Veronica Mars might go away from their multi-episode mystery block to being just single-episode mysteries, I was kind of iffy. I mean, that's a large backbone of what the show started. After watching tonight's episode, which included about ten seconds worth of the major mystery and instead focused on a single mystery that STILL had plenty of twists and turns, I think I'm more than ok with the change as long as they keep the damn show on the air. The dialogue continues to be fresh and innovative, and unlike 99% of other shows they are actually willing to regularly quote other TV shows - and it makes sense with these characters and especially Veronica Mars.
I just wish that Max had been in the episode. I love Kristen Bell, but Tina Majorno in tandem is a great treat.
