You Do Not Understand How Cold I Am
Man! It looks like Evan Lysacek won the Olympics while I was sleeping. Literally! I got home from class and was all "OMG NO ARE THE OLYMPICS OVER?" but they were just playing some snowboarding, so I was safe. Then they began with the figure skating and I was all "Phew, I didn't miss it!"
And then I fell asleep. When I came to, it was 5 in the morning and all had passed. -_-; So I missed it after all. UGH. I didn't get to see anything but the reactions from people on ONTD. Still, go USA! It seems like a lot of people don't like Plushenko? I always want to know more about the skaters' personalities but I never know where to look. I guess YouTube interviews or something but what if I judge them wrong? What if everyone is all "PLUSHENKO, YOU SMUG--" and maybe he's just...got a smug-looking face? That he was born with? Naw, naw, just kidding. Anyway, I was just rooting for people in general and kind of making momly faces of "Oh! Oh! Don't fall, don't fall!" because my heart breaks. One time I went skating with my family and I fell and my dad tried to help me and we both fell and it was just like a total wipe out. Man, if people had skated over us...WE COULD HAVE DIED, RIGHT? Luckily, I just ended up with a wounded knee for the next couple of months. And the embarrassment in my heart.
And AHAHAHAHAHA! Okay, so every now and then I go wandering around my iTunes suggestions to see what's the latest haps for me (they are usually super old songs, so not really latest, I suppose). Well, today it had this song called "Como Camarón" by this band or group or whatever from Spain called Estopa. My uncle had been making jokes about the word "estopa" recently, so I was all "Let's click this" and so I did and I KIND OF LOVE THIS SONG. I love songs that start off slow and then speed up until they're pretty fast. I just do. It's like...a song fetish or something. Anyway, I like the rhythm and the videos I saw crack me up because they get all dramatic and it reminds me of when my uncles and cousins start singing stupid stuff with their guitars.
This is the video for "Como Camarón" and his weird drinking at the beginning cracks me up. It seems overly dramatic. I don't know, it all just makes me laugh.
