Man, Windows Vista won't leave me alone about upgrading to its Service Pack 2. I don't know if I want it. I seem to have bad luck with upgrades in that they don't feel like upgrades at all and either screw up my old settings or make things seem slower or something. Can't I keep things the way they are now? T_T My Vista's working just fine...but then I get paranoid that it includes some fix that could save my computer's life. I just don't know what to do~. I keep researching it but the information I've found hasn't really helped me reach a conclusion.
Speaking of computer issues, that bit with the cooling fan must have shaken me up more than I thought because now I'm super paranoid while playing The Sims 2. I could easily play that for hours but now, if I see that the temperature is rising (which it will), I end up turning it off. It's DUMB because the game still plays the same; it's not any slower or anything at all, yet I still turn it off because I'm like, "No, I should let it cool off." BUT MY LEGACIES.
Which, I still admire those who make legacies. I just read another really good, involved one that just made me go, "Wow, I could never have the patience for that." It's difficult enough to take, like, 10 pictures of anything and post them, let alone upwards of 90 pictures and planning out a whole storyline (especially when your Sims want to fight you the whole way through and refuse to do what you say). In a way, I think that, despite all the awesome downloads and cool tricks I've found, I'm still not The Sims 2 savvy enough to pull off what a lot of these people are doing. Maybe one day! I mean, I think my Sims' lives have definitely been interesting enough...I just reaally suck at documenting them. I wanted to do something like document a Sim's entire life from their birth to their death but then I always get distracted and forget to take pictures of important milestones and then go, "I'll do it with the next one." And then I don't, of course. -_-;
OH! And I just found out the new Otomen Jdrama just started! I really want to watch. *_* REALLY, REALLY. I think it's funny/cool that the main guy is the guy who played Sekime in Hana Kimi because he's kind of the only character/actor in the Japanese version of Hana Kimi I really noticed (DON'T KILL ME~). And he looks REALLY spot on. In fact, they all do! I didn't read much of the manga but what I did read seemed really awesome and the previous I've seen for the drama looked great, so I'm looking forward to it! It's been a while since a drama hooked me, so I hope this one will.
Ugh! It's already August. But that means Christmas will be here soon~!
