YAY! Square #6 is almost done! In honor of being...24% done, I'm making a knitting pictures post!
Square #1: The Easiest Square
This square was...the easiest one to do! No weird techniques or anything were involved. It was nice and the pattern was easy to remember and that was great because it meant I didn't have to carry the pattern guide thing around.
Square #2: The First Weird Square
This was the first "weird" square, meaning that I had never knitted a pattern like this before and I wasn't sure whether I'd do it well. I had to use some stitches I hadn't used before and I wouldn't even know if I was doing it right until I was well into the thing and could see the pattern coming out. Luckily, it all worked out!
Square #3: The Tree Square
I love this one! I was really excited to do it because it looks awesome yet also concerned because it looked hard to do. I had to look up how to do some of the stitches required and fretted a little about some of them but it came out exactly like the picture in the end!
Square #4: The Square of Luv~
The heart square! This one was neat to do! I kept worrying I'd lose my place, though, so this is where I seriously started to mark up the pattern guide book thing. Anyway, it is...a heart square.
Square #5: The Flame Square
I'm actually a little worried about this one. It looks awesome but it also looks way smaller than the others, for some reason, even though I followed the pattern exactly. It will totally stretch out once I sew them together but still. Anyway, at least it looks pretty cool! *_*
Square #6: The Edward Diamond Square
Hoshi named this one because she is such a huge Twilight fan! Anyway, this one I just finished and I have to start on the border now. I really like the way it looks and feels.
And that...is all I have. Six squares isn't so bad, right? I'll probably still finish before I die! And I won't give up before then! Because...I already bought all the yarn and stuff.
