Perhaps You Better Leave It to the GIRLS!

Dec 09, 2008 02:44

BOYS! We know what to do! Leave it to the girls, boys! You're returnable and used! Ahahaha! Oh, Spray! Your song lyrics are so...parodical? Satirical? I always forget the difference. Anyway, like me, I doubt that the Spray peoples really think boys are returnable and used. Lord knows I've tried to return my brother several times and no one's having it (mostly my mom, who has become fond of him over the years).

But what does this have to do with my LIFE? Nothing, mostly! I was playing me some Mario Kart Wii and I won some online battles! Apparently, I do best with Toadette and the Super Falcon. I tried it with Rosalina and the Piranha Prowler and some Japanese players kicked my butt and I went home crying. UGH! But when I unleashed that pink mushroom girl in her Arwing-like kart...ooooh, you know you better be getting out of my WAY. Or face the wrath of my BANANA PEELS. No, actually, it was a green shell. I will always love red shells the best, though. I always admire persistence and focus.

We had our final class party today! It went over great! I ate a lot and laughed a lot and I will miss my classmates and, also, my hair was behaving today and I was extremely happy about that. You know how most of the time you're like, "Oh, my hair is just there," or "UGH, my hair is sucking hardcore today"? Well, this was one of those rare days where I went "Oh, my! My hair is...doing what it's supposed to do!" I took it as a very positive sign. And it was a positive day! Even filled with racing wins with Toadettes!

Other than that, I am still crushing on Hiroshi Kamiya (RHIANNON! Look at him and tell me you love him too or I will be SHOCKED). I feel like a bad person and a traitor because Hikaru Midorikawa has always been my favorite ever since I saw him at Otakon 2001. But...but...this guy...I mean... To be honest, Midorikawa was my favorite because it was such a fun experience to see him and he was so awesome and gracious and such. It didn't have much to do with his actual VOICE. When I think about it, I don't think I've ever FULLY been a huge fan of someone's VOICE. I liked the characters they played or their own personality but I was never really like, "Oh. Your voice...I want to marry it." But THIS Kamiya guy... And he's cute to boot. Ahahahaha. *shallow* No, for real, his voice is good and he seems like an awesome voice actor too. So...I...am his fan. Oh, and he almost died in a car accident in 2006 and so I am SERIOUSLY GRATEFUL that you lived, Kamiya!

O...Oh. They're playing The Brothers Grimm and Heath Ledger is on my screen and I'm...kind of sad about it. I don't know whether to keep watching or not. *torn* Heath Ledger is WEIRD to me, you guys. I feel like a poser because I was never a huge fan or anything yet his death really bummed me out way more than I thought it would.

OH! And we got our Christmas tree! Man, Dad freaked me out. See, we always, ALWAYS go buy our tree together. ALWAYS. Me and Dad. ALWAYS. Well, he was a punk and went and bought it with Mom without me this year. It went like this...

Brother: Yeah, they went shopping for Dad's birthday present cause he wants this weird watch and also the Christmas tree.
Me: *sleepily* Nn...
Brother: *turns to leave*
Me: ... .... ...WAIT, WHAT!?

And my concern was that Dad always tends to want to buy small trees. I love big trees. We usually get one in the 6-7 feet tall range and I have to fight for it to even be that tall. So, naturally, I'm freaking out because Dad is like that and Mom kind of doesn't seem to care about the size of it and so I'm expecting them to show up with some midget tree or something and, indeed, Mom comes home and is all like, "I told him not to but...he went with a pretty small tree." And I was pulling my hair out and weeping on the inside and ready to sass him for going without me. But it was all a hilarious prank! They actually got a HUGE tree! About 8 or 9 feet tall! It's so tall that we have to put it in the family room instead of the living room like we usually do. I was so excited. T_T Dad says it was to shut me up and stop my whining about short trees every year. I know it's really because...he loves me. No, it's probably the whining thing.

But a tree this special needs a GOOD name. I usually name our trees after my great grandmothers. ^_^; So this year it might be Monserrate, Euladia, or Rosalía.
