New Shirt, New Shoes, New Service! =D

Ok, that's almost completely a lie. I just got new shoes. I've been meaning to get new shoes for, like, a YEAR. Well, today I finally got around to it! See, my "usual" shoes are these dark blue boot/shoe/things. I put Gonzo shoelaces on them. My cousin finally realized this and was horrified and offended (she is a real disciple/admirer of Stacy from What Not To Wear) and she kept threatening to throw them away. I have to agree that it was time for the boots to go but only because their color was fading and they were starting to look more gray than blue. Other than that, all my other shoes were either too fancy or too informal or too old-fashioned or something. Because I hate shoe shopping and I hadn't gone in a while and the last time I went I bought work shoes, which are too fancy and uncomfortable for everyday use.

The POINT is that I finally found those stupid black ballerina flats I've wanted for a LONG time! *_* And I also made a point to buy comfortable sneakers for theme park going and stuff like that. So now I finally have shoes! YAAAAY~! No longer will I have to endure things like, "When are you throwing away those abominations?" and "Just...no." And the best part is, they ARE comfortable! So I don't feel like I just "sold out" for pretty shoes. I can truly be like, "Yeah, what? I just bought them for COMFORT."

Other than that, I went to see Hancock today. Yes, it's a surprise to me too. I never really had an interest in it. In fact, I wanted to see Wall-E but my cousin keeps refusing to watch anything that could be deemed a children's movie, so we watched Hancock instead (I WILL see Wall-E somehow, though!). It was pretty ok! Nothing to gush too much about, in my book, but it was good enough for hanging out and going to see a movie. My favorite character was definitely Jason Bateman's character. I think I'm getting a crush on Jason Bateman just because of this role and because he was really funny in some Juno interviews I saw. Oh, Jason Bateman~!

OH!! For anyone who cares, here is the Here Is Greenwood drama opening song (for those who watch it and go, "Whoa, what's with the cheesy sword fight thing?" and stuff like that, it's from an episode in the OAV (and probably in the manga too?) where they decide to do this little home movie or whatever for their class project and the AV guys did the special effects and it was really funny. AHAHAHA! Oh, Lemon Herb and Tino and Cool Mint and Princess Chelsea~!)! And the ending song! *_* I can't wait to see the first episode~! I'm totally spazzing out over here waiting. SOMEONE PLEASE UPLOAD IT~! T_T Anyway, I still think it looks good. I hope it actually is good. I remain optimistic!

Happy Belated 4th of July!
