A Bit More on Harry Potter 7 and Some Other Stuff
Ok! I finished reading it "properly." It is not officially read all the way through. Every page. Ok, I did skip some parts in some of the battles just because I usually have a hard time understanding what is going on in battles in books. I guess I'm bad at picturing it. I just go "Ok, so who won at the end?" ^_^; That is one thing about movies based on books that I like. I finally get to know what the heck was happening. Anyway!
So. I could not be more proud of my widdle baby Neville. I have loved Neville since forever, and so I was happy to see him be so awesome in this book. His grandma was awesome too! And Luna as well. I AM bummed out that we don't find out what happened to Luna. I would have liked the epilogue to be at least twice as long so we could find out what happened to more of the survivors. I would have liked to know how George coped with the loss of Fred, who the new Hogwarts headmaster is (I'm guessing McGonagall...?), etc. I imagine Kingsley remained Minister of Magic. I'm just going to imagine that Neville became head of Gryffindor and McGonagall became headmaster. It'll be cool to have a woman headmaster. A NICE one, not like Umbridge. Which I was hoping Umbridge would be better punished. She was one of the most horrible people in the books but I always felt she got off without that much punishment. GUH!
One thing, though... I heard a rumor before the book came out that someone who had never done magic or something would do magic pretty late in life in this book. I have no clue who it was. Did I miss it...? Did I just forget...? I figured it'd be Filch or something, but I didn't notice him doing anything... Maybe I did miss it.
Christmas is only five months away! *_* I actually always draw comfort from that. Time can work against us but also against those who are against us, right? ^_^; Time will make August 20th come, but it will also make December whateverdateschoolisover come too.
I'M NOT THINKING ABOUT IT, LALALALALA! ^_^;
In the meantime, I am looking forward to more episodes of Coffee Prince and to episode 11 of Liar Game, which seems to be taking forever to be subbed or something.
I want more 80s music.
