so i've been trying to write as of late...but i haven't been happy with anything i've written...i went to my old lyric book to see if i could get any inspiration from stuff i've previously written that was never used in anything...and there was some good stuff in it...it took me back to when i wrote a lot of it, and what i felt at that point...i

Over the past year, I've become obssessed with a lot of rap albums. That isn't good for me as a writer...it evokes something that I'm not prepared to incorporate into my style.

I really just find inspiration inside of myself...and I generally write commentaries on society, the implosion/explosion/disintegration of my previous relationship (to a degree- I don't like to write about girls and such...), or I make up stories (I do this mostly).

I hope that things open up for you.

yeah, occasionally i make up stories occasionally...but i like writing about actual stuff i've been through more, that's just how i've always written, which is part of the reason it feels like i'm starting all over...but i'm sure my mind and ideas and life will open up eventually, thanks
