All work and no play make Johnny a dull boy…
I just spent the last 20 minutes cleaning dishes. It is important to note that I did not make this mess. The mess was made by the wonderful people that seem to frequent this house. Oddly enough it wasn’t a leprechaun or garden gnome. Most people think they are mischievous but really they live under my bed and make cotton candy (ok that may not be true but, I wish someone made cotton candy under my bed). Now I must be honest I cleaned the dishes in an odd way. I found the “Thriller” album and popped it in the CD player. I then turned on Billie Jean and P.Y.T. and listened to them on repeat. Every time I put a dish away I would either a) Thrust my pelvis and sing to the music, b) Do a leg kick or c) Do the moonwalk. I have to admit putting a dish away while doing the moonwalk was actually quite exciting. I was also wearing swimming trunks during this whole experience. The only odd thing that is bothering me is I don’t have a pool, yet I was wearing swimming trunks. I seriously need to invest in a turtle pool. Or at the very least some sort of sprinkling device that allows me to slide a great distance and end up in a pool of luke-warm water. I also need bikini clad women rating me on my sliding techniques....perhaps I will use a 10 point scale in honour of the upcoming Olympics.
