T:SCC - 1x09 Scene Picspam
For scifiland's Favorite Scene challenge. And it's no contest, of all the scenes in all my favorite sci-fi shows, this scene has yet to be topped. It's not flashy, there's no action in it, no cliffhanger plot twist, and no special effects or guns going off. And yet the scene is so loaded and just so beautiful in what it's showing us. A simple defining moment for the characters, show, and the franchise. I still tear up every time I see it.
John: "Is that, you? And the younger one is that--"
Derek: "Kyle--Throws pretty good for a five year old huh? Your father always had a nice arm."
John: "How'd you know?"
Derek: "Every time I look at you I see him... Happy Birthday."
