Happy Ostara / Eostre / Easter!
We have humming birds again. Just a few scouts, right now... hope we get the swarms that we did a couple of years ago. I'm gonna try & set up a web cam for them. I put out a water bowl for the outside birds, and they're lovin' it.
Bfly heads off to Chicago for a week, today. Wah!
My parents sent us Easter Baskets again this year... I love that. They always find wonderful strange candies and toys. YAY TOYS! Though of late we've taken to sending ziplock bags of stuff (padded with that horrid cellophane grass), just because the baskets are so bulky it drives the cost way up. Sadly, this year we weren't able to return the favor... next year for sure... as we've said a few years running, now.
Had a really nice visit with Ogre last night, sitting around drinking beer & watching Narnia. Excellent stuff.
Heh. And our wonderful administration continues it's deeply Christian tradition of tolerance, acceptance, and love. Yyyyyeaah.
