It was nearly nine o'clock and Ernie took a last look around the lobby of Hammerside. He, Cedric, and Henry had spent a few hours in the morning, getting everything perfectly arranged.
The tables were set, placecards and centerpieces atop pristine white cloths. The small dias where he and Eleanor would stand was flanked by some larger flower arrangements. Colin had already arrived to scope out angles for pictures. Hannah assured him that George was taking care of the fireworks and would just need to know when to set them off. The house elves had delivered the food and were standing by to serve it after the ceremony. Cedric was in charge of the officiant, a rather elderly wizard. Earlier, Henry had nearly blown them up trying to figure out the sound system, but some soft music was playing now.
Ernie caught a glimpse of himself in the windows of the fitness center (which were currently charmed so no one could see in or out) and straightened his tie for the hundredth time. The last time, Cedric had threatened to bind his hands together, but luckily Ernie was alone for a moment.
A few minutes later, Henry shouted from across the room, "You sure you don't want to forget this entire thing?"
Ernie shook his head. "Absolutely not." Grinning, he added, "I'm marrying your sister tonight."
