Dear Friends of Music and Stoatshead Hill Musical Club Members,
The Stoatshead Hill Musical Club will be Wassailing next Saturday evening. We will meet at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 15, 2005 at the Stoatshead Hill Community Center on Alpha. Please bring warm clothing and your enthusiasm. We will carol from the Community Centre to the Orphanage, then carol on to the Five Alarm where we will lead the pub in carols before enjoying a hot meal. The supper includes the Five Alarm Stew accompanied by either mulled wine or hot cider. The meal is being provided courtesy of our sponsor, The Georgiana Lestrange Foundation for the Arts. Other food and spirits will be available at the member's or guest's expense.
There will be a practice this Thursday evening at the Community Centre for those of you who will be playing violin and handchimes. Vocalists are also welcome at this practice but it is not mandatory. The list of songs we'll be singing is attached. Scrolls with the lyrics will be provided to all carolers on December 15th. I am happy to send copies of the sheet music to anyone who is interested.
If you have been unable to join us in the past, please do not be held back. Bring your friends and relatives! You do not need to join the club to carol with us. I sincerely hope that you will be able to join us. Please contact me if you have any questions.
Regards,
Caradoc Dearborn
Stoatshead Hill Musical Club
Caradoc copied the letters and song lists before sending Poindexter off to deliver the post, reserving Sanguini's for delivery after dark. That done, he took out a broad marker, clean white paper and drew up a new public notice. He would make copies and tack them up during his jog.
