Merlin, how the days were flying past! It was December already and soon the Christmas decorations would need to go up at the pub along with any other seasonal things Rosie wanted to do with the place. Just a couple of days ago it had been little Bill's thirty-fifth - did that make her old now? Molly was sure that she only felt thirty-five herself. She supposed that Bill wasn't so little anymore, and hadn't been for a long time.
It would be Charlie's birthday in a couple of weeks, too. Perhaps she could manage a trip to visit him - it was lovely in Romania this time of year and it had been a long time since she had been there. Then would come Christmas and before she knew it Molly had a feeling that it would be Ron's birthday again.
Molly surveyed the pub, sure that it looked as though there were no customers who needed serving just yet. She began to put the clean pint glasses back on the shelf, absently humming one of her favourite songs to herself.
