As 4 o'clock Monday afternoon approached, Marietta straightened up around her desk at the Ministry and took a deep breath. The past few days she'd had a feeling of foreboding about this visit with Orla. Not because her friend was going to be counseling her; Marietta had recognised Orla's insightfulness and she figured if anyone could help her fill the gaps in her memory, it would probably be Orla. What really troubled her was what she might actually find once Orla helped her figure things out. Had she done something so terrible that she'd blocked it from her own memory? Had someone else done something to make her forget?
She had no idea, but it was possible she would soon find out. Apparating to Orla's house, she knocked on the front door precisely at 4 p.m.
