MIchael had been burning the candle at both ends, what with working at the school, working on his house (solo this weekend because of Harry's position with the British team, and preparing for classes at the Community Center.
It was tempting to fix up some pot noodles and crash in front of the telly or wireless, but Michael wanted someone to talk Quidditch with as he ate his food, and that was mostly to be found at the Five Alarm. So he showered, changed, and dragged his tired arse to the pub, telling himself that at least he'd get a decent meal.
When he arrived, there was a group of wizards discussing the chances of the British team, but when he spotted a familiar face in the corner, he couldn't resist. Although, given the events of the last few weeks, he wasn't sure she'd want to talk to him.
