Hannah was working in the greenhouse when she heard an owl tapping on one of the windows. She went over and let it in the door. She scanned the message and her face went white.

Don't worry about not writing back under the circumstances.

Ernie's being a wanker. Unfortunately, I don't know where he is, but I'm more than willing to help you look. I don't have work today so tell me whether you want to come here or I'll come to your house or shop. I'll even go to his mother's if it takes that.
