RP: In the Pour House

By nine o'clock, Draco had already been at The Pour House for three and a half hours getting everything ready. It had, of course, been ready last night, but he liked to consider himself a perfectionist when it came to his business.
He picked up a soft cloth and polished the espresso machine, again. It wasn't anything Draco would ever let anyone catch him doing, but he didn't see anyone around at the moment, and he'd thought he'd seen a smudge on it. He could hear Eloise puttering around next door, but that was it. When he was finished, he replaced the cloth and took a critical look around the shop from his counter to the left of the entrance.
It was a long, sort of narrow room, but he'd made good use of the space, with ample seating along the his counter and the one on the opposite wall, as well as a few tables scattered along the length of the room. The cool green of the walls seemed to suit the dark brown furniture, and the lighting wasn't overly bright -- which, to him, had been a must. Overall, Draco quite liked it.
The fact that nearly every part of it was a result of his own hard work certainly didn't hurt, and the feeling wasn't nearly as strange as it had used to be.
He glanced up at the clock, then walked out from behind the counter to tap his wand to the "Closed" sign and change it to "Open." His eyes fell on the Help Wanted sign that was still hanging and he shook his head. That hadn't exactly worked out. He'd talk to Eloise and ask if she could still spare Walter for a few hours during the weekdays, or something.
For now, though, he checked the levels of cups, lids, sugar packets, and those utterly ridiculous stirring straws, then went back behind the counter to wait.
