Summary: Rita goes to visit Gilderoy and finds out why she has been congratulated so many times lately.

Truth be told, Rita was still slightly annoyed with Gilderoy. The last time she'd seen him (when he wasn't groping Avery), he'd accused her of maliciously lying and attempting to slander his lover. She'd been proven right by what Avery said - in more ways than one - after all, the man had come back, but she'd heard nothing from Gilderoy. No 'oh, you were right, Rita' or 'I'm sorry I all but called you a conniving bitch' - nothing.
It made her angry every time she thought about it, and she'd not bothered to contact Gilderoy since they'd all had tea, still stewing over it.
But she had a tense relationship with Stella, and an even tenser one with her father these days, and she didn't want to let this get in the way of her relationship with Gilderoy. Besides, it was difficult to give someone the silent treatment when they didn't even seem to notice.
She knew he was a selfish child of a man. She knew it, and she supposed she would have to deal with it. Everything was about Gilderoy Lockhart, and if it wasn't it didn't exist. Silence wasn't working. She would visit, and she would try and put it behind her, but if she couldn't... well. At least she would be able to say something to him and hope he might listen this time.
When she pushed open the door of the store, it wasn't to the face she was expecting.
"Oh, good morning, Miss Greengrass. How are you?"
