The pub seemed quiet. Then again, it was a Wednesday evening after all, probably not a big pint night, Adrian thought as he stepped into the Five Alarm. He'd had his fill of pub food, but he wanted to catch up with Marcus, and it would be nice to see Padma again, so he was glad they'd accepted his invitation. He wore his old BC sweatshirt and dark muggle jeans, comfortable to the point of not quite caring how he'd look in a muggle shirt and sitting alone in a pub. Marcus had told him to bring along a friend, he hoped they wouldn't be offended that he hadn't been able to. Ginny had said when they'd met for lunch on Sunday that she had plans for Wednesday. He still hoped she might want to stop in, but wasn't sure if she'd be free to, so he stood at the bar and ordered a pint to wait for his friends.
What an idea, he thought, I'm waiting for friends. It was an idea he could get used to.
