“I wouldn’t hesitate,” Blaise replied firmly. He’d also make certain her two boys knew too and Merlin help Roger then.

He leant back and watched Hermione for a few moments. She still wasn’t convinced and was stepping back from the awkward subject. But he wasn’t trying to convince her, had no intention of trying really. She had a right to think what she wanted, he just didn’t want to hear her implying he was wasting time or talking detrimentally of Terry. Neither were things he would stand of anyone close to him regardless of any truths they held or didn’t.

Blaise let the subject drop willingly. “Yes, we have a habit of falling into such traps,” he replied with a smirk. He lifted the lid on one of the containers and placed it between them. “This one’s Mushroom, sun-dried tomatoes and olive cannelloni and this,” he said lifting the lid on a second container is just a simple carbonara.

“It’s coming on nicely, yes, and I’m very pleased with Roger’s work. Hopefully we’ll get it open or at least ready to open by the end of the month.”

“I had Dean Thomas come over yesterday to look at the structure actually, and he reminded me of something else I need to ask Roger. The beams in the roof need checking in case water from the leaks have got into them.”

Blaise spooned himself a helping of the cannelloni and looked up at Hermione to see which dish she wanted. “Five hundred’s a great start. You’ve certainly made this process a lot easier than it could have been. I have three hundred from Tracey’s uncle’s library. I should try and get to some of my mother’s houses actually. See which ones are still intact and check out the libraries in those.”
