Dear Mr. Shacklebolt,

I do hope this letter finds you doing well and not suffering any side effects from those charms. I do apologize, once again, for my overreacting. Though, I'd rather be safe due to overreacting than in danger for not.

The reason I am sending this owl is to let you know that Harry sees no problem with you doing work for us around the house. I've made a few lists and think we might keep you busy for a few weeks, at least. I do hope that is all right? If you'd prefer just to work on the roof and help with the garden, we do understand. When would you like to start work?

Since you mentioned not knowing very much about roofing, I took it upon myself to find a book with information on the subject. I've bookmarked several pages that could be of assistance, as well as included some loose notes from other instructions I found elsewhere. I hope it helps you with the task. I also found a couple of books on gardening that I'm including, as you said that was a subject you enjoyed. They're a little worse for wear and have suffered from the elments, but they're legible and quite informative. If you're like Harry and Ron and only read when absolutely required, you can just return the texts when you come for work.

With the books, you'll find a few chocolate chip biscuits that were made today. We thought you might enjoy them. Consider it payment for your time reading up on roofing, if you must.

Regards,

Hermione Granger (Ron Weasley, and Harry Potter)

Oi, Shacklebolt! Thanks for stopping by and helping with the house stuff. Hermione makes great biscuits.

Ron
