Viktor really needed to find a job. Not because he needed the money; he wasn't particularly inclined to spend a lot, and being an international sport star before he was eighteen meant he'd had plenty, early.
However, he was bored. Bored a lot, and there was, he heard, a primary school possibly in the works, which would be someplace for Maire to spend her mornings, perhaps, and then he could look into finding something useful to do besides run and clean his house. He chuckled. His father would probably be somewhat alarmed to learn Viktor was currently a staying-at-home father, but then, Krasimir Krum hadn't made his way as easily as Viktor had, and staying home had been a luxury he'd only had in the late years of his life.
Viktor shook his head and directed Maire in clearing up her paints, then took her off to the bath. She was in the midst of making a mountain of bubbles when there was a knock at the door. "You are stay here. Not getting out, and not splashing, is clear?"
"No fun."
"Yes, but is also not fun, if you must stop play with bubble and instead mop of wet floor, so you are stay."
She nodded and went back to sculpting while he went to the door.
