RP: A Stubborn Reunion

When Seamus walked into the pub ready to work earlier in the afternoon, several faces had turned to watch as he made his way from the door to the bar. He ignored everyone, of course. If they wanted something from him they could come to the bar.
For much of his shift he'd stood behind the bar doing nothing more than fix the occasional drink or food order. No one had attempted to talk to him, and even Peeves seemed to be giving him the day off. Rosmerta would cast a wary glance at him from time to time, but for the most part she remained professional, giving him the occasional job to do when the pub was going slow.
It was during one of these slow moments at the pub when Seamus found himself alone at the bar with nothing to do but to wipe the counters down. He worked slowly, thinking of nothing in particular. He knew if he allowed his mind to wander he might begin thinking of those things he really didn't want to think about.
A creak from the other side of the room signaled the opening of a door and he looked up, seeing Alicia walk in, her head down. She hadn't noticed him yet. He watched her for a moment before looking back down at the counter. He'd seen her note to him when he walked into his flat the other day, but he hadn't let her know he was back in town. Focusing on wiping down the counter, he didn't see Alicia walking towards him, or the look on her face.
