OWL: To Minerva McGonagall

It had been a few days since Terry's party, and since Colin had told Romilda he planned on sorting through his many boxes of photos and doing something with them besides letting them sit. So that is just what he was doing this evening. He sat in his living room boxes of pictures surrounding him and the sofa and with that he began.
As he sorted through each box, he labeled them, whether they were family photos, those of his friends, or photos he had taken during the war. After about an hour of sorting Colin came across a box of photos he hadn't seen in some time. It was filled with photos from Hogwarts, pictures of the grounds, of his professors, of his friends, quidditch matches, the Tri-wizard tournament, of anything and everything at the school. He sat and looked through the pictures for quite sometime, recalling fond memories from his childhood spent in those halls, and with those people.
He stopped on a picture of he and Dennis and Romilda, they were all smiling and laughing while they waved to the camera. It had been the first picture he'd been able to make move, and it brought back such memories. He hated that all these photos were sitting in a box being forgotten. He took the picture he held in his hand and set it aside to frame.
Colin decided he would give the school photos away, after he took a few that he wanted to keep for himself. The rest would be excellent for anyone else who had gone to school at Hogwarts, and one person came to mind when he thought how he would go about doing that.

Colin sat at his desk, and pulled out a sheet of parchment and quickly penned a letter for his former professor.
Professor McGonagall,
I'm not sure you'll remember me that well, but I was once a student of yours at Hogwarts - Colin Creevey. I am writing to you because I've recently been going through my collection of photography and I've come across several pictures I took while at Hogwarts.
I would like these photos to be kept safe, for posterity the memories that others like myself might find in them. When I thought of who to turn to, in order to make sure others - former students and professors - could get a chance to see them, I could think of no one better than you, my former Head-of-House.
I would very much like to bring them by for you to look at sometime this week, and we can discuss how others might have the chance to do the same.
