"What lovely ink!" Gilderoy said out loud as he read the notice. Of course, the parchment was of cheaper quality and not quite the shade he liked for his writing, but it did accent the ink quite nicely. "Looks like a water and gum medium ink with a pigment base of indigo."

He had been out walking around town with Ella. They had gone down to visit Millicent's home, but found that she wasn't there at all. More than that, she hadn'tbeen there at all. There were no wards in place, none of the food they had brought earlier had been eaten, and none of her things had been moved ( ... )

Lavender stared at the sign, biting her lip. Oh dear, was the only thought that went through her head, her first impression of seeing Trelawney's intention.

As much as she had admired her former professor, this was just... Lavender sighed, realising that she was just too curious not to go and visit at some point. Whatever this 'emporium' was, it was bound to be interesting in a way that only Trelawney could manage.
