RP: We Wish You a Merry Christmas

Ernie crept down the stairs and out the backdoor. He'd left the tree in plain sight, except for the concealment charm he'd cast. Uncovering it, he hefted it in both hands and lugged it into the house, through the kitchen, and into the living room. He'd found a tree stand in the attic and, with a few minor magical adjustments, had the tree upright in no time.
Half an hour later, the lights were strung around the tree, the ornaments were hung, and the tinsel was set (he'd enjoyed throwing clumps of it at the tree especially). With only the Christmas lights blazing, it looked a bit like Hades with the weird orange glow. A few more charms set the lights to soft blue, red, and green and the ornaments to gold and silver.
He stepped back to admire his handiwork. It wasn't half bad. Yawning, he made his way back upstairs to the guest room and fell into bed.
