Date: 28 November 2004 Character(s): Ginny Weasley and Seamus Finnigan Location: The Five Alarm and then the hospital Status: Private Summary: Seamus cuts himself on accident and heads off to the hospital to get fixed up Completion: Complete
Ginny was on her way home from visiting with Adrian when she realized she'd left a case file at the hospital that she was working on. Making a detour on the street, she cut across several back roads until the hospital loomed in sight.
Pushing the doors open, Ginny was surprised to see Seamus Finnigan sitting in the waiting room holding a towel around his hand.
Walking over, she frowned in bewilderment, "Seamus? Is that you? Goodness, what happened to you?"
Seamus looked up at the sound of a woman's voice and smiled broadly when he saw Ginny Weasley standing in front of him.
"Hey there, stranger." He looked down at his hand and shrugged. "I cut my hand on some glass back at the pub. There was a lot of blood...thought I'd come here."
He grinned. "I haven't seen you in ages. How are you?"
Ginny grinned broadly, giving the wizard a quick hug. "I'm just fine. Merlin, I should have expected to see you around here eventually, it's just a surprise, Seamus."
Waving for him to follow her, Ginny led him to the exam room where she directed him to hold the towel over the small sink as she gingerly unwrapped it. "You're working at the pub? The Five Alarm? We must keep missing eachother. I've been in a few times but with my schedule here, it's very erratic."
He hugged her back, grinning as he pulled away. "Oh, you should have expected to see me around here? Ginny Weasley, I am hurt." He looked at his hand, cracking a slight smile. "Literally, so it seems."
He followed her into the exam room and did as he was told. No one in their right mind would go against Ginny's orders. She could be very nice, but she could also be very scary.
"Oh? That's strange. I'm there most nights, actually. Unless I have to cover a shift during the day for someone else. It's been a lot of fun, especially now that more people are in town." He grimaced as he looked down at the cut on his hand, surprised at how deep it actually was.
"How long have you been around? I thought I would've seen you around before now."
