i thought we were safe
i'm sorry i broke you in
i took all the blame
just so i could play with it

i knew that you knew
about both my secret hands
but i kept them since youth
all of my secret plans

and when said outloud
they made no sense to you
so they hid in my mouth
until i was forced to chew

cause you knew my every sound
and how to make each one slowly come out
cause you knew my every move
and i slowly moved so far from you

i hoped we'd stay here
our own celestial sphere
i thought i could stear it
far into the years
