after holly i decided i was going to wait. i was going to wait until i found someone who i knew wouldn't die on me. so i started to plant seeds and for months nothing sprouted. but i was ok with that. i just kept gardening. but i think i tended them all too much and now i have 3 girls ready for bloom. i told lencsi shes not what i want, mostly because her seed took the longest to grow. i was tending to it for a little over 10 months. but then theres stacey. who had a crush on me from a far and then one day came to the city to kiss me, but just the same went home to los angelas. and while i thought this would automaticlly disqualify her, she doesn't seem to think so. in 2 weeks i go to los angelas to visit family and she is making plans for plane tickets and long distance dates on telephones. i told her that i'm not really one for long distance anymore but then she told me she would build us a hovercraft. like seriously. she said that.

but then theres cole. the vegan photography student who i spend every night with. who takes me cumbia dancing and comes on route with me. who i wander golden gate park with while we take hits off joints. who i can share clothes with cuz we have such similar taste. who i lay in bed with for hours listening to music. who makes me a bead bracelet when shes bored at work. who offers to fix the bracellet when she sees its a little big for my wrist.

but she's never offered to make me a hovercraft.
