A good day

Today was a good day. Even though I tried about twelve times to get the safe open so I could take the deposit to the bank today and never managed, all was well. I had a nice group of girls as staff today. The cream of the crop. I didn't have any problems even with the two OLDER women I had to act as liason between over a matter of a tip from the other night that was not supposedly divided correctly. I got a lot done too. I cleaned out the product cabinet where we keep our products for patron use, scrubbed the bathroom, and went to get a new key for the girl who is opening tomorrow. I ran into an old friend while I was at Lowe's getting the key. And enjoyed the weather while walking back to work. It was a really nice sunny day in the early 60's. I stopped at Lowe's on the way home, looked around the garden center and got ideas for things, then came home, cleaned a bit, and took my son's to dinner. All in all a great day. We stopped at the guitar store and Scott bought a harmonica to learn to play Billy Joel's "The piano man". He was just in here telling me how MUCH he LOVES it already. Saw an awesome sunset on the way home past the mall. The sun was a pretty pinkish yellow. Of course, I didn't take my camera to the restaurant. Bummer. Oh and BTW, Scott has a love in his life now. Her name is MADDE (pronounced Maddie), and she is very sweet, and quite pretty. I will try and get a pic of them together. Mike drove a bit today, and did well. I think if I can get out with him some more he will be driving by June. If not sooner.
