Diet/food update

So it's been a week since I started this blood type diet and I thought that I should do an update.

So you know what I'm talking about - In general, a type O blood diet is high in meat with no dairy, eggs, or grains. There are some veggies that type O's have to stay away from (starches for the most part) and a few fruits that are advised against

Over all, it hasn't been too bad. I've been eating more meat than I usually do; but, that's not a bad thing since my diet was kind of low on protein. While I know that for most people the "no grains" clause in this diet would kill most people - it's not a problem for me. Since I'm already gluten-free and even with that don't really eat grains this has been the easiest part. It's actually the wheat gluten that type O's can't deal with, so I'm good even if I do decide to add some grain to a meal. Really, the only complaint and the hardest part of this diet for me is the elimination of dairy. Soy milk just doesn't taste the same.

And I've already lost between 3 - 4 pounds!
